You can help support the promotion of academic competition in Missouri.
All Missouri academic coaches, as well as those interested in promoting excellence in academic competition, are eligible for membership in MACA.
MACA uses its dues to purchase medals for all-district and all-state teams, to host a state-wide Junior Varsity tournament, and to support Missouri national competition teams. We also provide aid and information to coaches through newsletters and e-mail correspondence. In addition, MACA hosts an informative annual convention each fall.
The 2015 version of the MACA JV State Tournament was held on March 14th at Helias High School (special thanks to Shelley Swoyer for volunteering and all of her hard work).
Reminder: Question sets are frequently used at multiple tournaments throughout the state. You are responsible for ensuring that your school attends only one tournament using a particular question set!
Please click here for a list of question set assignments.
Only freshman and sophomore players are eligible for this tournament.

On Saturday, March 15th, MACA held the 2014 JV State Tournament at Rock Bridge High School. The state of Missouri was well represented by a very competitive field of teams. This tournament ran very smoothly and efficiently due to the wonderful staff that volunteered to help. We had many coaches, former players, and MACA officers that all worked to help staff the tournament.
