We are pleased to announce the beginning of what we hope may become a Northeast Missouri tradition- Truman Bowl I at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO on March 21, 2009 and a second tournament on March 28, 2009. Both tournaments are open to all high school teams. We will be using HSAOQ written questions and guarantee each team at least five games. Tournament style will be determined by field size. We will be e-mailing further details to all registered teams (format, directions, etc.) These tournaments will be wholly independent of each other, and will consist of entirely different questions. However, those teams wishing to compete in both weekends will be given a larger discount.
Pricing for one tournament is as follows:
One team will cost $70 to enter
Any additional teams from the same school will cost $60 to enter.
Any team bringing a buzzer system will receive a $5 discount.
There will be a maximum of $15 discounted.
The pricing for teams wishing to compete in BOTH tournaments is as follows:
$110 for the first team from any school.
Additional teams from any school will cost $90.
Buzzer discounts remain the same, but will only be assessed for 1 weekend, with a maximum of $15 discount.
Schools may choose to bring 1 team to both tournaments and 1 to a single weekend, so the cost would be $170, with any discount taken off.
If you have any questions or concerns,or to register, please feel free to e-mail Tournament Director Hank Kimbrough at jhk5376@truman.edu. We thank you for your interest in our tournament and look forward to seeing you at Truman Bowl I!

You are welcome to bring a second team, but they will be competing with varsity teams as there is no separate JV tournament. We will play MSHSAA rules.
