Teams involved in the KRES Scholars Cup are reminded that today (April 2nd, 2016) is the last day events may take place for inclusion in the rankings. All results must be submitted no later than April 5th. Contest rules and a tournament results form can be found with the original entry, link above.

Rules and qualifications are subject to change at the discretion of Regional Radio.

The annual Missouri Academic Coaches Association convention will take place Monday, October 3, 2016, at the headquarters of the Missouri High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) at 1 North Keene Street in Columbia. Conference registration is $25; more information on advance payment of this and annual membership dues can be found at the Members link on this page.

This tournament will consist of a minimum of eight games for all teams in a modified NAQT/national format:

  • Each game shall consist of two halves of ten tossups each, with each correct tossup followed by a three-part bonus.
  • Correct tossup answers are ten points each, with an additional five-point “power” awarded for a correct answer given before a pre-determined point in the tossup.
  • Unlike other national tournaments, we will NOT assess a five-point penalty for interrupting the moderator during the tossup with an incorrect answer.

As Moberly High School is hosting all-district music, MYST will take place at Moberly Middle School, north of the high school building at 920 KWIX Road.

This tournament will consist of a minimum of seven games for all teams in a modified national format:

The JV division will have a roster restriction:

  • All freshmen may compete. NO seniors may compete.
  • Sophomores who have not competed at HSNCT, SSNCT or PACE NSC may compete.
  • Juniors who have not previously competed at any 20/20 tournament may compete.
